Biography: My husband Gino, KF4DCK and I met as pharmacists when we were in the hospital pharmacy internship program in St. Louis,Missouri.  He had graduated from the U. of Tennessee, and I from the U. of Wisconsin pharmacy school.  I subsequently went on to medical school and practiced medicine until I sold the practice in l999.    We had a pharmacy in my office during that time we both worked in as well. We sold the practice and the pharmacy and decided to take more leisure time for ourselves.   We now travel a lot in our RV here in the USA, and have had a few trips abroad.  I guess we will put international travel off for another year or two depending on conditions with air travel, etc

Job: Now I still do some relief work as a physician, but I am also getting back to my pharmacy roots as we are setting up a new pharmacy in the clinic I work for part time in Pawley's Island SC.  This is a clinic for indigent patients with no insurance or funds to pay for medical care, and now with a small grant we will obtain free medicines for them also.  All the physicians donate their time, but we have a small paid office staff.  The clinic can only afford to employ a pharmacist part-time, so I will also be the pharmacist during my duty hours.  It has been enjoyable to set up the new pharmacy from the beginning, and although Gino thinks he is "totally" retired, we will give him some work also.
